Emerald Smokey Eyes/ Clothes

So, I haven’t shopped for clothes in ages and thought I might as well shop now as I have the day off work otherwise I wont have the time to sex up my wardrobe once I go back work ..Luckily the weather wasn’t pouring down for once!! Pheww* it was nice and sunny. I find myself being really picky with tops/dresses. I tend to go for unique looking dresses they have to fit perfectly around my curves I love wearing unique bright and bold clothes for summer, I’m not too fussed about matching heels I have a nude looking pair of doll shoes and heels that go perfectly with any dress and top that I own.

I purchased this top from Jane Norman, I’m not too keen from purchasing from there on a regular basis as I think they over price some of their products, but you’d defiantly catch me there on a sale!

At first I wasn’t too sure about this top from a far but I absolutely fell in love with it when I held it in my hand and felt the fabric, the pattern and the colour looked so gorgeous. I thought this’ll be prefect for this summer very thin fabric enough to let the air through so less chances of sweating. But what made me really like the top was the sequence following along the entire v neck from the front it looked perfect. So I had to get ittt!

I’m wearing the Smokey Emerald Eyes there’s a tutorial on this on the blog it’s called the *Sexy Smokey Emerald Eyes* on my lips I have on Mac Cherish lipstick and my face I have on Mac Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation I’ve been using this a lot it gives full coverage without making my skin feeling heavy or clogged. I have purchased 2 already I love this foundation to bits I’m so glad Mac added this to the permanent line.

I’m wearing:

Top: Jane Noorman £35
Pink earrings: Claire’s £5
Fuchsia Pink heels from Dune £85
Jeans: Skinny fit Jeans: Dark Blue £25

Mac Show Orchid

This one is definatly a *stunner*!! You have to have some serious ballzZZ to wear this lippy! this is extremly bold .. it is bright .. it is *gorgeous* I love it sooO much. My heart skipped a bit when I opened it up and saw the prettiness inside. It's an amplified formula .. so the application is quite smooth. Its a stunning hot pink that stops just short of being "neon" ..

I could not believe my eyes when I saw this in the store today!! Finally! I did not think I would ever get my hands on this lippy since it was one of those lipsticks that can only be found at your nearest pro store only, every time I went into the pro store to purchase this eitheir it was out of stock or I'd completly forget about it like a ditsy moo :D. When I went into my nearest Mac store and there it was just sitting there looking at me. It is so much the shade I love the most, it is a bit lighter pink than Full Fucshia Pink and I love that.
I think this shade is worth getting a back-up of.
This Show Orchid will be one of my favorite shades for Spring & Summer for sure.

Prep + Prime with MAC Line Filler

Haul
Prep + Prime Line Filler (£12.72) – use after applying foundation or you can apply before makeup.

Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder (£15.17) - invisible powder to set makeup and cover up any shiny patches on the face.
(I'm currently using this to fil in bottom lid lines after appying concealar)
For the past few days, I’ve been testing out Prep + Prime Line Filler and Prep an Prime Transparent Finishing Powder to see if my skin looked smoother, flawless and or if anyone even noticed!

Okay! Over my regular moisturiser, I first applied MAC P+P Line Filler and looked carefully into the mirror to see any noticeable wrinkle areas so I know where I need to apply - i.e the outer corners of my eyes. The formula was a bit thick and heavy, creating sort of a top layer anywhere I applied it. I know this is probably the point of the product but I was hoping that Prep + Prime Line Filler would sink into my skin and fill in the lines a little bit more.

Next I applied Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder (under eye lids). The texture of this product was lighter and applied on like a feather. I did notice less appearance of shiny patches on my fore head espicially as thats the main spot where the shine tends to adhere a lot.
So I was quite pleased with this product :D

Mac Gold Metal Pigment

Mac Metal Gold Pigment

I have never seen anything like MAC Metal pigments, and this one is a stunner for sure! it looks like liquid gold on your eyes, this pigment's fine texture is a lot better to work with than the chunkier pigments out there. Some of them are so hard to work with and do not show up as nice as others. I recently picked up the Gold Metal pigment at the Pro Store and I love it. The colour is an amazing gold metal colour, like the colour of melted gold bars. I never found another colour like this, so I will repurchase when I run out.

Definitely worth having in your stash if you like pigments
!! HUGE raves from me!!
