Shopping Spree

I went into Selfridges a few days ago and picked up these gorgeous lashes by Shu Uemura, I was drawn to them by the glistening crystals on the lashes; I’ve been meaning to pick up these lashes for a long time now for going out. The crystals come in a selection of colours you can choose upto 10 crystal for £10 and they also cut the lashes to fit the legnth of your eyes. I asked the MUA to glue the crystals to the outer corners of the lashes I choose only 3 on each side now I wish I chose a few more: s.

I was on the Illamasqua website and I ended up liking a few of their things in particular the purplish, violet looking lipsticks and lip-glosses. I formed a list and went down there and tried a small number of their lipsticks and purchased Fetish (dark purple colour) and Corrupt (bright pink) along with Fierce lip-gloss (I love this I’m addicted to it :D)

---------------------------------------------------------------

I really love Inglot cosmetics I purchased a lot of their eye shadows and several lipsticks. I was over the moon when I came across a complete duplicate of Mac Lavender Whip in 420 the only dissimilarity is its exceptionally matte, the colour intensity’s with quite a few applications. I love looove this lipstick I wear this one for work.

In the focal point we have 403 its a nude lipstick, I really think it is the perfect nude for Asian skin tone, its not too vivid like Mac Myth its somewhat toned down its also matte the colour is so gorgeous. On the far right is a deep burgundy matte colour I got this because of the concentrated colour I absolutely love deep reds or any reds actually! I missed out on a similar lipstick to this in one of Mac’s winter or autumn collection it was sold out.

My Thoughts...

I’m captivated by Mac Violet trance, I’ve read up a few reviews on people complaining how it does not adhere as much you have to incessantly keep building up on a thousand coats to make the colour appear as it does in the pan. I don’t mind too much I love this colour so much. I think you can build up on the colour a lot quicker if you pat on a thicker coat of primer potion what do you think? That is what I do especially when I’m working with mattes, and to make it easy to blend I tap my blending brush into the pan and pat it over the crease I find it gets a lot easier to blend.

I’m feeling purples this season! I grasped this lovely intense lip-gloss called fierce from Illamasqua and from the very first time trying it on I haven’t stop using it ever since! The MUA applied onto the back of my hand it appeared exceptionally purple I wasn’t too sure whether to get it or not, however after I applied it on myself I fell in love with it instantly. It’s a creamy silk texture the down side is it doesn’t adhere on for longer you have to continue touching up throughout the day.
